My passion for photography began in 2011 during a blood spatter analysis training in Ruidoso, New Mexico. At the time, I was serving as a Law Enforcement Officer, a career built on precision, observation, and documentation. That training opened my eyes to the power of imagery: how a single photograph can freeze a moment, tell a story, and reveal details the human eye might miss.
From that point forward, I became mesmerized by all things photography. Night skies, landscapes, portraits, candid moments. I wanted to capture everything. Photography became more than a skill; it became a way to slow down time and preserve the beauty, emotion, and authenticity of life.
Over the years, my style has evolved into a blend of storytelling and intentional artistry. These days, I’m drawn to the beauty of natural light, using it to create warm, soft, authentic, true‑to‑life images. But I also love the control and creativity that comes with off‑camera flash, whether I’m shooting on location or building dramatic lighting setups in the studio. Being able to move seamlessly between natural light and artificial light allows me to shape the mood of every session and deliver images that match each client’s vision.
Today, Mickeymutt Photography stands as the creative branch of Navajo Net‑Hive Technologies. A place where professionalism meets passion. I bring the same attention to detail I learned in other professions into every session, ensuring your story is captured with care, respect, and artistry.
